i never know what to write in these weblogs... chinese new year celebrations in malaysia were just over.  it was great because half the city went back to their hometowns so it was really empty.  no traffic jams, i could go downtown and actually find parking on the street!!  i wish it was chinese new year every week.

my piano teaching is going a little slow but i'm enjoying the extra time i have.  not feeling bored at all.  anybody have any good books to recommend for reading?

You know those wet paper napkins that come in a wrapped up plastic pouch... you get them at Chinese restaurants usually?  Well, I went to this Chinese tea house just now and the wet paper napkins there smelled EXACTLY like the women's Issey Miyake perfume.  So strange.

Anyway, what am I doing when I leave my current job...?  Planning on teaching piano.. haven't gone actively looking for that new job yet.  But hopefully it'll happen end of this year.

anyhoo, i went to singapore recently.  it's like right next to malaysia but its soooo different (like cleaner, safer and more civilized.  haha).  the cabs there are really cool too.  i think all the drivers are retired professionals who just drive cabs to make small money after they've retired.

mmm... i'm tired.  i had to pull two all nighters for work this past week.  i'ma leave this job really soon.  more updates later.

A few weeks ago, I held a Lord of the Rings movie marathon... all 3 extended versions non-stop.. well maybe a few minutes break in between.  Total running time: 11.5 hours!  Woo hoo, yeah baby!  Thanks to Kevin, my equally fanatic LOTR buddy, for loaning his DVDs.  And mucho props to Jon, first timer to LOTR, for actually sitting through all 3 movies~~

Anyhoo, whats new... I'm taking piano lessons again.. working towards a performance diploma.  My job isnt so crazy right now so I actually have time to do something I enjoy.
